Emergency Shelter / Safehouse

Crossroads operates a 26-bedroom emergency shelter program and an additional 5-bedroom transitional housing program in Larimer County. Victims of intimate partner abuse and their children receive shelter for two to eight weeks. Each family is given the privacy of their own bedroom, while having the support of other residents through shared living, dining and children’s play areas. Basic needs such as food, clothing and personal supplies are provided through donations from supportive members of the community as well as other agencies and businesses.

“The team was great. A nice staff, helpful in accommodating my concerns for timing and getting out of the home safely. Thankful for the help, care, and for my children as well.”
“My advocate was a very astute and empathetic person. Very professional but also very understanding. I felt much better being here. I feel I made a good decision coming here and I’m very, very grateful I was accepted.”
“The advocates are very sweet, super respectful, caring and trustworthy. They make you feel at home and safe. Thank you, Crossroads, for your support.”
